Migrate to Sage 100cloud?

If you have Sage 100, you may be wondering if you should migrate to Sage 100cloud (formerly Sage 100c).  Sage has included many incentives to entice clients to migrate.  The benefits can be weighed against Sage 100cloud subscription pricing.

One obvious reason to migrate is because Sage 100cloud includes features that are not available in Sage 100.  See the chart below for a growing list of the new features.  This also includes Sage’s roadmap, including additional future benefits that are planned for Sage 100cloud. 

Sage 100cloud includes everything in Sage 100, plus new features.  Sage 100cloud is the same program installation as Sage 100.  All you need to do is enter the new, Sage 100cloud unlocking keys to unlock the new features.  This makes it easy to migrate.

Some clients migrate to Sage 100cloud because the price is comparable to their Sage 100 annual maintenance renewal or less expensive.  You may request the expected renewal amounts for both your Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud options.

Some clients migrate to Sage 100cloud to obtain an additional module for free.  Sage 100cloud is sold in bundles.  When you migrate, Sage provides you with a bundle that has all of the modules you currently own.  For example, if you have the Sage 100 Distribution modules with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), this converts to the Sage 100cloud Complete bundle.  Complete bundle includes Bar-Code so your upgrade provides a free module. 

Sage 100cloud pricing is the same for the Standard, Advanced and Premium (SQL) versions. If you are considering an upgrade to Advanced or Premium, the migration to Sage 100cloud is very cost-effective.

Sage 100cloud pricing is subscription.  This means that you need to remain current on payments in order to continue using Sage 100cloud.  This is a commitment that needs to be considered carefully.  Although most clients pay annual maintenance each year, the subscription requires the annual payment.
