Sage wanted their users to see that they are “cloud connected” to many add on products and solutions. The “C” stands for connectivity. Sage would like to stress “cloud connectivity” as an asset to choosing this solution as well.
Will I need to install anything or upgrade my current version?
No, as this is a name only change, you will not see a difference if you are already on Sage 100c. If you are on Sage 100 and thinking about upgrading to Sage 100cloud, you will need to be on a version 2016 or newer and there are new keys to enter.
What is the difference between Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud?
Sage 100 is a perpetual plan with monthly or annual maintenance and support.
